ABOUT
Team America Care Coordination (TACC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing long term case management and advocacy to promote recovery and healing for post-military career operators injured in defense of democracy. TACC services are provided at no cost to its members.
SERVICES
TACC provides long-term, client-centered, holistic healthcare coordination & advocacy, accompanying clients on their journey of healing as they address symptoms of "Operator Syndrome"

Deliverables:

Providing education to the operator and their loved-ones for increased health literacy to build confidence & independence in healthcare self-advocacy
Facilitating communication between the operator’s care team members, including medical & behavioral health providers, advocates, community resources & family members
Development, implementation & oversight of treatment plans
Gathering, review & organization of medical records
Navigating/ securing applicable benefits & relevant resources

TACC serves the post-military career operator community facing medical and psychological injuries associated with years of service to our country
Request Services/ Referral Process:
​TACC accepts new clients through direct inquiry, self referral, referrals by health care professionals, attorneys, insurance representatives, family members & other sources. Simply submit an inquiry or referral through the CONTACT section below, or call (678) 603-0352.
TACC membership is voluntary and can be discontinued at any time.

Founder/ CEO: Irene Pennington
​​​​​​​​​With over 20 years of brain injury rehabilitation experience and 16 years of working with military and contract operators, Irene is uniquely qualified to coordinate the complex care needs of this niche population.
Irene is a dedicated, trustworthy, and established case manager equipped with an MSc in Cognitive Neuropsychology and a track record of success as an advocate and care coordinator for clients affected by neurological and psychological disorders.

In September 2008 Irene was selected to be the case manager for the SHARE Military Initiative brain injury program launched at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA, and was actively involved in development of the program, providing high-quality care to hundreds of veterans and service members at no cost to the patient.
Recognized for her dedication to delivering a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, Irene collaborates with her clients, their loved-ones, medical providers and other team members to facilitate and ensure seamless healthcare delivery with enhanced patient outcomes.
